Been digging into Zano confidential assets — the fact that amounts and types are hidden by default is wild. Anyone using them in production?

Great question — the CA scheme is covered in the docs. Moving this to the right category if needed.

I use them for a small asset issuance — works great.

Basically, Confidential Assets on Zano hide the sender, receiver, amount, and asset ID using ring signatures, stealth addresses, and Bulletproofs+. This makes any confidential transaction indistinguishable from any other confidential transaction on the chain, enabling private stablecoins and wrapped assets without a separate blockchain.
