@Ruroni99 I absolutely agree just there's a point to make for why they might be untrustworthy. They were losing thousands and the support team was active meaning they were watching it happen. Who does that? It's a house that's addicted to their own game. A house that's addicted to their own game is a desperate house, a desperate house does illicit things.

Hey Zano Forum,

Created a sub-address "tool" a while back and I've been using it for myself. Zano doesn't support sub-addresses natively so this tool when run will automatically create a new Zano Wallet "temp-wallet" and print the address in a command prompt. You can copy this address and send Zano to it, then the script will automatically direct those funds from the temp-wallet to a "MAIN_ADDRESS" which you can set as whatever you'd like.

So effectively sub-addresses.

This script has potential for abuse only use the original script I created in the event someone forks it. Line 257 is the place in the code that determines where the funds are sent, you can verify yourself that "address" is MAIN_ADDRESS.
Always worth doing a test transaction with a small amount of Zano to ensure everything works properly.

@Ruroni99 There’s definitely some risks with gambling on that platform. Keep in mind they’re not the most profitable sportsbook, they recently fixed their odds but between July and August they lost at least 15,000 USD to advantage players. There could be motivations to gain that money back.

@adiela-0 Have you checked the zano DEX recently? Not exactly much liquidity over there.

@ketone-0 At the moment it appears about $25,000 USD would raise the price of the coin by 20%. Zano’s price acts extremely strangely in the fact that you only need hotbit or MEXC to skyrocket and everybody follows because of the bot volume.

I’ve tested this myself one of the huge spikes back in late July was due to me and I’ll be honest with you it wasn’t $25,000 USD not even 20k and I myself raised the price of Zano by a $1. Well that’s all I’ll take credit for it seemed to go up even more after me.

@ren888yin Absolutely agree with you. I don’t see how a whale could even buy Zano. You’d sky rocket the price. It’s an immediate deterrent for people with money. Someone rich is like oooo I really like this Zano thing I want to buy $25,000 worth of it. Then they see, I’d raise the price of it from $7 to $8.6, that’s odd let’s do 5,000 instead. And it is odd and makes Zano look bad. $25,000 is only 0.025% of Zano’s market cap yet would raise the price of the coin by over 20%, weird. I’ve looked through other coins at Zano’s market cap others don’t suffer this problem.

And I’m not a Zano hater I just think it’s important we point these things out.

I suppose that’s not price manipulation that’s just a thin order book.

@tommycat When the price of Zano was in the $9-$10 range compared to other coins of similar market cap and volume Zano’s order books were extremely thin. You could’ve crashed the price of Zano back down to $8 with about 1,500 Zano. The order books were extremely weak which makes me think there was price “manipulation”.

Even at Zano’s current price purchasing 1,500 zano especially broken into segments could bring the price back up to above $9.5.

Could be influenced by the fact Ourbit and MEXC are almost directly correlated to each other. If you clear the order book on Ourbit, MEXC’s price almost immediately reacts to the spike. These 2 together affect the rest of the market.

Back in 2021 I was mining cryptocurrency and stumbled upon Zano. Whattomine.com ranked it as one of the more profitable coins to mine so I originally mined it to just sell the coin. Back then it was extremely easy to solo mine Zano, there would only be maybe 4 users mining the coin (at least in pools, there could've been solo miners who didn't interact with pool websites). That made it very easy to accumulate a lot of it. When it came time to sell the coin I researched a little bit about the project and thought that this project could beat out coins like Firo who I thought at the time would one day lead privacy crypto. So I continued to mine the coin until late 2022 when Ethereum converted to POS, had to stop mining crypto all together and sell off my GPUs.

Anyways I've been holding my mined coins ever since. Honestly forgot about Zano until recently. I'm glad the project is doing well.

I'm just curious but the huge amounts of price movement is this price "manipulation"? The huge growth in the price of the coin with no recent positive news is quite odd, like HF6 has been known for a while. The order books also don't seem very strong. Just looking for some other opinions/input.

Anybody know why zanoX heavily reduced available sports markets?

I don’t know if there’s anybody else here who uses the zanox.io sports betting platform. It was quite good until about a week ago when they cut the majority of it.
