Doesn't sound bad. It's similar to Nostr, where if you come across a post and you find it constructive, you can then 'zap' or send some Bitcoins to the original poster as a way of appreciating their insightfulness. I can definitely see this being implemented here.

@Ruroni99 Yeah similar spirit to RetoSwap but different mechanics. Here the escrow would be a contract, and the arbitrators never have any path to the money at all. They hold no keys, they only vote on the outcome and earn a separate dispute fee, and the contract itself pays out based on the vote. It's also general purpose digital escrow (paying for work, AI agent tasks, P2P trades where one leg is off chain) rather than being built around fiat to crypto swaps specifically. There's no special validator, arbitrators are just people who register by posting a stake, and a small panel of them votes if a dispute happens. If they go silent, anyone can void the deal after a timeout and both sides take their own funds back, so nobody is trusted to stay online. On ZEL the chain's own validators would play no special role beyond running the chain. Previous build is on Beam. It's a shader contract live on their mainnet with a dapp in the Beam dapp store, so the ZEL version would be a Solidity port of a design that already runs, not a from scratch experiment. seems AI agents are using escrows a fair amount lately, so it be cool to build one for Zano

@kwibs 0.265% in and 0.155% out is solid. I haven't tried it yet though. Are those fixed rates or do they adjust based on pool depth at the time of swap?

Any updates on this? Did you finally get what you paid for?

this actually solves a very specific onboarding problem. if someone earns fUSD from a campaign but has zero ZANO, having to leave the ecosystem, buy ZANO somewhere else and bring it back just to pay gas creates unnecessary friction. using an atomic swap is what makes the idea more interesting. the user keeps control of their funds, doesn't have to send fUSD to the bot first, and can effectively turn a small amount of what they already own into the ZANO needed to transact. if the execution is secure and the pricing stays reasonable, i'd definitely point stuck users toward something like this. it's a small feature, but it removes a pretty annoying first-time user problem.

The desktop version of FreedomWallet.com automatically compares the swapping rates from various swap providers, and lets you choose the one offering the best rate.

Just tested out the LTC to ZANO and it works good. That's a lot better than the old trade portal. Very slick way to get people into ZANO without having to deal with huge transaction fees at the exchanges. How long has this Buy/Sell for hundreds of coins been around?

@ZMiner from what ive read so far its possible with the Zano Execution Layer as it gives the ecosystem the programmability a perp engine needs, but not with native Zano, ZEL is on transparent chain, so perps on ZEL would hide who you are, but not what your positions are so its kinda close to what god wanted but who nos perhaps things may change in regards to native Zano im not sure about your other question tho
