You can create an introduction category where people can share some info about themselves and their projects. That's good for getting more adoption in smaller communities. Although, I'd suggest to transition away from legacy account-based architecture and choose direct signing instead, but that's a rant for another post.

@ZANOX.IO You mentioned swaps and gift cards too. Which one is seeing more use on ZanoX right now?

this actually solves a very specific onboarding problem. if someone earns fUSD from a campaign but has zero ZANO, having to leave the ecosystem, buy ZANO somewhere else and bring it back just to pay gas creates unnecessary friction. using an atomic swap is what makes the idea more interesting. the user keeps control of their funds, doesn't have to send fUSD to the bot first, and can effectively turn a small amount of what they already own into the ZANO needed to transact. if the execution is secure and the pricing stays reasonable, i'd definitely point stuck users toward something like this. it's a small feature, but it removes a pretty annoying first-time user problem.

basically, Zano’s Confidential Assets are designed to keep transaction details private. using ring signatures, stealth addresses and Bulletproofs+, they hide the sender, receiver, transaction amount and asset ID. this makes confidential transactions difficult to distinguish from one another onchain, allowing assets like private stablecoins and wrapped tokens to exist directly on Zano without needing a separate blockchain.

Not at the moment. The latest reports indicate ZANO withdrawals on DigiFinex are still disabled, while trading remains available.

We'd love to see this as well, but most of the above-mentioned services are heavily regulated and won't integrate privacy coins like Zano. Once $ZANO goes cross-chain, we have a decent chance of integrating Wrapped Zano on their services.

I came across Zano while exploring privacy-focused projects. The trading opportunity got me interested at first, but the tech and the direction of the ecosystem are what made me stay.

@shomari I think it’s worth exploring, but I wouldn’t want smart contracts added at the expense of what makes Zano different.

The privacy point definitely stood out to me too. I think it’s one of those areas where the balance between privacy, transparency and accountability gets complicated pretty quickly.

although i've already registered to the forum, i would've MUCH preferred to "Login with Zano" using my @shomari Zano username in short, i'm NOT AT ALL comfortable installing browser extensions, for security reasons, especially for a privacy-first network i already use the Zano mobile wallet — could that handle the "Login with Zano" authorization instead? – perhaps something like a QR code flow where the phone approves it? would that be possible? is it on the roadmap? are there any technical blockers? any workaround in the meantime? and MOST importantly, is it already too late to "connect" @shomari to my existing forum account? absolutely LOVE this forum 🥰 and looking forward to MUCH more engagement cheers!
