Hey guys, I built a savings circle dApp for ZEL that settles in fUSD.
The contract holds the pot and members pay from their phone with no gas.

Worth knowing this isn’t uncharted, Bitcoin itself had an inflation bug in 2010, 184 billion BTC minted, fixed the same way, erasing the affected history.
What gets judged is the response, and here the cause is published, the funding committed, and balances are being restored exchange by exchange.
it may of been as freedom dollar had not shifted to the new chain at that time
so your send never confirmed there, that’s why the native wallet and explorer show nothing, the “pending” is just Freedom’s stale local record
try to update the app first, then restore from seed once more, rebuilding against the recovered chain clears the stuck pending if your still having issues create a ticket at https://zano.org/support
there is not a hardware option for native Zano but it is on the road map

Your log shows the wallet is failing because a system library, libsoftokn3.so from the NSS package, is missing or broken.
This is a system issue, not a wallet issue, and nothing below touches your wallet files or keys.
Try these in order.
Step 1, check if the library exists
ldconfig -p | grep libsoftokn3
If nothing comes back, it's missing, continue.
Step 2, reinstall the NSS packages
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install --reinstall libnss3 libnss3-tools
Step 3, check again
ldconfig -p | grep libsoftokn3
You should now see it listed.
Step 4, try launching the wallet. If it opens, you're done.
Step 5, if it still fails with the same NSS error, rename your user certificate database so it regenerates fresh, this is a rename, not a delete, fully reversible
mv ~/.pki/nssdb ~/.pki/nssdb.bak
(If you've ever manually imported personal certificates into your browser's system store, they're preserved in the .bak, everything else regenerates automatically.)
Step 6, launch the wallet again.

That incoming ZANO transaction ID is worth keeping even though the explorer no longer shows it, you're right that it's off the recovered chain, but the ID itself documents your claim.
With the ETH side on a permanent public chain plus that ID, your records are about as complete as anyone's from that period.
standing advice everywhere is save everything now, screenshots, IDs, records, wallet files, before it's assumed what will or won't be needed. The claims process will define what's accepted when it's published on official channels.

Sorry that happened, your ETH transactions to ZanoX are permanent on Ethereum's explorer, that's solid documentation, save those IDs and addresses along with your Zano wallet address and files.
On ZanoX, it's a third party swap service integrated into the wallet, not run by the Zano team, so it moves to the recovered chain on its own behalf.
For your lost ZANO from the swap, that falls in the removed period like everyone else's, and the claims process, which will be published on official channels, is meant to cover anyone who genuinely lost coins.
Since you're email based official support is at zano.org/support, open a ticket there so your case is on record, and everything official appears on zano.org and this forum
Nobody from the team will ever email or message you first offering recovery, treat any such contact as a scam.

No process is live yet. The claims process, what it covers and how to submit, will be published on official channels, and nobody can pre approve anything before then.
For now, keep all transaction IDs, trade and exchange records from the affected period.

it seems these prizes are set on the bitcoin.com wallet pretty sure they dont have the p2p function
i tested this out today on the Zano desktop and the mobile wallet created a p2p swap got the hex, sent the hex through telegram, copied that hex for my mobile wallet that had 0 Zano (it was holding fusd) then i entered that hex into the mobile checked the amounts and confirmed the hex bingo got Zano for the mobile that had no gas now it has gas .
but seems most of the prizes are on bitcoin.com so not much point in making a bot for it

Yeah similar spirit to RetoSwap but different mechanics.
Here the escrow would be a contract, and the arbitrators never have any path to the money at all.
They hold no keys, they only vote on the outcome and earn a separate dispute fee, and the contract itself pays out based on the vote.
It's also general purpose digital escrow (paying for work, AI agent tasks, P2P trades where one leg is off chain) rather than being built around fiat to crypto swaps specifically.
There's no special validator, arbitrators are just people who register by posting a stake, and a small panel of them votes if a dispute happens.
If they go silent, anyone can void the deal after a timeout and both sides take their own funds back, so nobody is trusted to stay online.
On ZEL the chain's own validators would play no special role beyond running the chain.
Previous build is on Beam. It's a shader contract live on their mainnet with a dapp in the Beam dapp store, so the ZEL version would be a Solidity port of a design that already runs, not a from scratch experiment.
seems AI agents are using escrows a fair amount lately, so it be cool to build one for Zano
My understanding is there are no external oracles, each market maker node acts as its own price feed, pulling Zano's spot price straight from the CoinEx and MEXC order books in real time.
i got told by a guy that if Zano got to the 4 dollar area that freedom dollar would de peg...... and it was fine i reminded him that we were at the 4 dollar area only got crickets.
i think he asked the AI and one thing he did not take into account was the market makers
so its had a good test from 10 to 4
