And the most significant of all is that staking remains private, along with amounts that are hidden and linkage between users and their outputs are not disclosed.
Doesn't sound bad.
It's similar to Nostr, where if you come across a post and you find it constructive, you can then 'zap' or send some Bitcoins to the original poster as a way of appreciating their insightfulness.
I can definitely see this being implemented here.
Smart Contracts on a private chain...unreal.
I recall having a discussion with some colleagues of mines quite some time ago, regarding the notion of having smart contract capabilities on a private chain that it was considered to be unfeasible.
That is unlikely now

It's currently being worked on, per our current roadmap, and it's called: Zano Execution Layer (ZEL)
It's an EVM sidechain that brings smart contracts to the ecosystem while Zano L1 remains the privacy chain.

You can either register an account using a username and password, which upon successful registration, will give you access to the forum.
Now if you register via an alias-based authentication process, your identity is tied to your on-chain Zano alias, rather than an easily spoof username.
As a consequence, aliases that are registered with the blockchain cannot be altered /or impersonated the way a Telegram or perhaps a Discord username can.
